What gets a fast reply

Corrections. If a measurement is wrong, a spec has changed, or a product has been discontinued, that's the most useful message you can send. Corrections get made and the page gets dated.

Questions about your own setup. Room dimensions, desk height, what to buy first — happy to help think it through. The more specific the details, the more useful the answer.

Brands and affiliate managers. If you run a program in the home office space, say what the product is and what the terms are. Product samples don't buy coverage, and any product provided is disclosed on the page.

What won't get a reply

• Guest post pitches
• Requests to add a link to an existing article
• Anything asking for a review without disclosure
